Avicii’s Family Launches New Foundation Dedicated to Suicide Prevention

Avicii’s death last year was one of the most tragic events the dance music community witnessed in a long time. However, that hasn’t stopped his family from moving forward from his death to do some good in the world – in this case starting a new foundation in Tim Bergling’s name. According to the Associated Press, the institution will “initially focus on supporting people and organizations in the field of mental illness and suicide prevention. It also will be active in climate change, nature conservation and endangered species.” The foundation will be based in Sweden, where Tim is from.
