The homie JSTJR (pronounced “gesture”) has been causing a stir over on the east coast for a minute now. His signature style of music — Zouk Bass — caught the attention of Mad Decent last year and his JSTJR and Friends parties earned him a dedicated fan base as he continues to headline around the Boston area. I’ve been following JSTJR for years and one has to admire the hustle this young man puts in and how its paid off for him with his music career. That’s why I’m particularly happy to present you with our first JSTJR premiere in the form of this hot bootleg remix of Calvin Harris‘ Summer. This 108 bpm remix starts off with a nice groove and a little melody-play then in classic JSTJR style… everything goes completely bonkers. The contrast in energy makes this track a ****ing winner on the dace floor and I wouldn’t be surprised if we heard this track start popping up in all kinds of high-profile DJ mixes as summer winds down (it’s already been dropped by Party Favor on his mix for Diplo and Friends). What a bootleg!
