Continuously bringing New York some of the hottest Thursday nights is Output’s weekly concert series: Input. This week’s beautiful collection of artists feature Symbols Recordings extraordinaire Kastle, who is coming with his fellow cohorts–Sweater Beats, Lindsay Lowend, and Figgy–to bring us a raging Brooklyn-dance party filled with R&B, house, glitch, and bass-heavy dance music.
Kastle has been known to effortlessly garnish his soul and bass fusion with a hint of unique drum patterns that leave people entranced with his music. His sultry, club sound combined with the murky and mysterious melodies definitely leave people craving more.
Sweater Beats is what we’d like to call “hip to the game”; bringing in his dreamy sound, he’ll be throwing it down with the Symbols crew right in his hometown. Known to get some of the silkiest vocals in the game to lace over his tracks, the crowd will definitely have a chance to sing their heart out.
Lindsay Lowend has been all over New York from Mysteryland to Hudson Project, and now he’s hitting Brooklyn and bringing his amped up, yet sexy sound with him. Definitely fitting into the whole Kastle and Sweater Beats theme, Lindsay will be bringing in some trippy, bass-filled sounds.
Last, but surely not least, is the up and comer Figgy. He’s been making quite a name for himself, and quite frankly I don’t think any of us are really over that “Doing it Wrong” remix that brought him to this newfound rising fame. Combining elements of house, garage and R&B, Figgy is definitely going to fuse all of the soulful sounds Symbol Recordings is so proud to showoff, while showcasing his own crates full of remixes.
If you’re in Brooklyn tomorrow night and want to get sexy and crunk at the same damn time, be sure to grab some tickets over at ticket fly. It’s definitely going to get hot, and not because it’s summer time…
