Everyone’s favorite random white guy DJ/producer Diplo announced earlier this year in an interview with GQ that he’d be working with producer/songwriter Mark Ronson of “Uptown Funk” fame, and their live debut will be at Governor’s Ball in New York this year alongside Eminem, N.E.R.D., and Travis Scott.
It’s been unveiled with the Governor’s Ball that the new project will be called Silk City, presumably after a diner in Philadelphia, Diplo’s hometown. This is one of the most highly anticipated new projects of 2018 and we can only hope it is nearly as successful as Diplo’s last collaborative project, Jack Ü.
