Spotify has stride to make it easier for users to share music with friends by integrating its platform into apps like Facebook Messenger and Waze. Now comes the company’s latest feat, a way to share Spotify tracks without ever leaving iMessage. As Apple continues to make it easier to share pictures, GIFs, and more through iMessage, the latest Spotify app update has even more to offer. No longer will you have to find, copy and paste individual links to the songs you want to share with friends. Simply tap the apps button in iMessage to find the Spotify icon, search Spotify’s entire catalog for the song you want, and easily send it to any of your friends. On the receiving side, you’ll be able to listen to a thirty second preview of the track within iMessages or open it and it’ll take you directly to the track in the Spotify app. This latest update is surely one of the company’s best, making the sharing of music simpler than ever.
