PREMIERE: Exmag Showcase Their Funky Future Soul With “Time Piece”

 

Pennsylvania trio Exmag never fail to bring the funk and their upcoming EP is definitely going to be one of the highlights of the year. Back with another silky future soul original, Exmag crafts this effortless, downtempo Kaytranada sound with their new single “Time Piece”. The instrumental track is sultry with breezy synths and groovy guitar melodies that float with a smooth ease and natural beauty. “Time Piece” follows the trio’s previous hip-hop and jazz-infused singles “Ten Thousand Chains” and “Touch ft. Jubee” that highlighted their ability to combine a variety of genres into organically sounding originals. The group’s EP is due out later this year on Majestic Casual Records but you can stream their third single “Time Piece” below.
