Contemporary Hip Hop maestro and infamous super-villain MF DOOM has teamed up with the young Bishop Nehru to bring us the first track from their upcoming collaboration, “NehruvianDOOM” which will feature “about 7 songs” (according to their brief interview on the subject with XXL Magazine). Darkness (HBU)  has that throwback, timeless-classic MF Doom production style and Nehru’s verses are smooth, covering the familiar plight of the black youth in America. Unfortunately, there are no DOOM verses on this track but that doesn’t mean we won’t hold out hope that he will be on the album somewhere (though many speculate it would only be for one track). No word on an official release date but we’re expecting it sometime later this year…
