From her 90s influenced brand, to her remixes of tracks like Destiny’s Child “Say My Name,” LA-based producer VenessaMichaels is all about nostalgia. This time, she’s ready to bring an entire EP packed full of it with her forthcoming “Now That’s What I Call 2090” project.
Kicking things off on the EP is her remix of Sean Paul’s hit “Get Busy” that will put you right back on the HS prom dance floor. To pull everything, she’s even got a full music video to go along with it full of twerking luchador ladies and Venessa makings cameos throughout looking like a boss. The video was created by minorities, largely women, proving that no matter the skin color or gender, anyone can have capable, creative hands and minds.
