Obama & The White House Are Throwing Their Own One-Day Festival w/ SXSW

We officially have the coolest President ever. Today, the White House announced a one-day festival in conjunction with SXSW, NPR reports. The Obama’s are no strangers to SXSW; both Barack and Michelle spoke at this year’s convention.

The festival, which has been fittingly titled South By South Lawn will take place on October 3 and, like SXSW, include the usual interactive, music, and film segments SXSW is known for. The lineup has not yet been revealed, but according to the White House website, ““Musical performances will include well-known and emerging artists who are using their music to inspire audiences.”
