Dim Mak Records, founded by Steve Aoki in 1996, is celebrating 20 years of putting records out this year. What started as a group of friends pooling money together to release 7 inch records from punk and hardcore groups, it has evolved into the powerhouse music label we see today.
But what good is an anniversary celebration without a hell of a party, right? Right. And the party is right here in Chicago. After Steve Aoki’s headlining performance at Spring Awakening Music Festival he and a couple of his Dim Mak friends (Along with some special guests possibly?) will be heading to Concord Music Hall for the official 20 year anniversary party. Joining in on the fun will be Rain Man and Max Styler both who have recently released music on the Dim Mak imprint.
Rain Man – Bring Back The Summer (Ft. Oly)
Max Styler – Show U How (feat. KARRA)
Not bad for a 20th birthday party, right? When I turned 20 my mom said, “You can ALMOST drink beer!” (Spoiler alert – I drank beer that night anyways. Sorry mom.)
Enter below for your chance to win a 4-Pack of tickets to the extravaganza taking place at Concord Music Hall on Friday, June 10th. That’s right, if you win you can bring three of your best friends to hopefully blow out 20 candles on a Dim Mak branded cake. Let’s get it!
