Kendrick Lamar & BJ the Chicago Kid Join Forces On “The New Cupid”

BJ The Chicago Kid’s In My Mind album is currently available for streaming via NPR ahead of it’s February 19th release date. Naturally, the good people of the internet have ripped individual tracks for everyone’s listening pleasure. The most notable of those individual rips? BJ The Chicago Kid and Kendrick Lamar’s team effort for “The New Cupid,” which is set to be premiered tonight by Ebro Darden’s #Beats1Banger on Beats 1 Radio.

“The New Cupid” samples Raphael Saadiq’s “Oh Girl,” giving the track an old time and making it the perfect soundtrack for a Summer BBQ. BJ carries the song with his smooth vocals before Kendrick Lamar ties it all together with a quick verse. Stream and download “The New Cupid” below.
