PREMIERE: Prince Fox - Wait Until Tomorrow (Choppa Dunks Remix)

It is with extreme honor that I bring this premiere to you. Both of the artists involved are mega talents, the best of friends, and ride or die homies of mine. I fell in love with Prince Fox when I heard his remix of Sam Smith’s, ‘Stay with Me.’ He has been slaughtering the game since then, and I’ve had quite the view watching his fame rise. Recently, he released a track called ‘Wait Until Tomorrow,’ with future bass vibes that transport you to another universe. We covered the release of the VIP of this track, as well as the announcement of the EP that contains tonight’s featured track. The insurmountable talent and artistry that is Prince Fox is ever obvious in every track he releases. The VIP version of this track simply further proves that point. Donning the proverbial crown and earning himself the title of prince, as we are never disappointed with his beautiful music.

This EP entitled Musings, dropped today on Republic/Casablanca Records. In the meantime, I have the pleasure of bringing you one of the tracks off the EP. It is a stellar remix of ‘Wait Until Tomorrow’ from the one and only Choppa Dunks, a Bermuda native who lives in NYC, and whose wild sound is taking the world by tropical storm. The bromance and best friendship between him and Prince Fox is very real, plainly seen in these words on the current remix:

I’m mad excited for Sam to finally release this EP and also for my remix to be on it. I jumped on the opportunity to do this remix, especially since Sam is one of my best friends and also a fellow New Yorker. Fux with yer bois.

There is no love lost between these two ever. Their super closeness is matched in their talent, and these two probably inspire each other to be these incredible artists. They are in this elite class of talent that is so superior to the rest of the mediocre music world. As I said, I am honored. Privileged to bring you this particular track. I love Prince Fox. I love Sam. I love Choppa Dunks. I love Harry. The opposite of love lost here. So much love gained with every note that comes from the music made by their four hands; sweet music to my ears always.

Both of their bright personalities shine through in this remix. Starting with the piano intro that makes it through, Choppa Dunks righteously preserves the emotional force that is Prince Fox’s signature sound, showing us that he knows his bestie pretty well, and respects his music. A flavor and presence not in the original are quickly felt in the added speed and breaks that make this an obvious Choppa Dunks track. Distorted vocals go down and dark, dropping this version to a level drastically heavier than the chill vibes that come through from the original. Chop Dunks is known for his turn up, and this remix is stupid turnt, with added bells and whistles in the drops, and trap beats to which fans will clap and dance, dropping down low to get down to these flames.
