PREMIERE: Slander’s Night Owl Guest Mix w/ Interview from Pasquale Rotella

With the huge trap music boom in 2012 we’ve seen a lot of different artists rise in popularity then fade into the depths of the internet. Slander, however, is a duo that has done anything but that as they continue to showcase their diversity in production and the ability rise to any occasion. Whether it’s their massive Red Lips remix they just dropped with NGHTMRE, XS Las Vegas residency, or creation of the “heaven trap” genre, Slander continues to impress and excel at a high level.

They were recently asked to sit down with the founder of Insomniac Pasquale Rotella for an exclusive mix for his night owl session radio, a mix that was originally launched on Sirius XM radio. Now we have the pleasure of premiering the mix to the masses with a free download to go with it.

Along with a mix jam packed with heaters and a brand new exclusive ID, Slander takes the time to chat with Pasquale at the end of the mix to talk about their progression as artists, including a memorable moment when they were asked to step up to the main stage last minute at Nocturnal 2014 and drop bombs. It just goes to show what hard work can do for you in this industry; so if you’re an aspiring producer in the game take note, you never know what can happen and you have to be ready for anything and everything.
