Sydney based producer Alison Wonderland is quickly rising up the charts. She has already had lots of success in her home country of Australia, but more recently she has been playing some shows in the States. If you aren’t familiar with her, her Diplo and Friends mix is the perfect introduction.
She has already had many mixes with Triple J and has been getting support from Diplo, Trippy Turtle, Annie Mac, and more so you knew she was going to bring it. She combines trap music heaters with hip hop bangers throughout the mix featuring artists like Kendrick Lamar, Baauer, Flosstradamus, Outkast, and more. She also highlighted a few fellow Australians like Flume, Basenji, Wave Racer, Hermitude as well as an unreleased collab track between Djemba Djemba and herself.
If you live in Australia hopefully you were lucky enough to get a ticket to one of her upcoming warehouse projects with Wave Racer and Young Franco. If you’re like me and live in the U.S. this Diplo and Friends mix will have to suffice until she embarks on a larger U.S. tour.
