Krooked Drivers, a Denver based duo, are quickly making a name for themselves. Their sound if reminiscent of other electro-funk artists like Griz and Pretty Lights. They excel at combining soulful samples with modern sounds and melodies.

Currently they are in the middle of their ‘Retro Electro’ tour with the likes of MuzzY and Late Night Radio. They took a break from their busy schedule to drop off their original, half hour long, beat mixtape. It has a lot of the sounds that made many people first notice Krooked Drivers, all with a hip hop beat that will keep you bumping. They had this to say about the release.

” Since back in the day listening to our favorite 90’s hip-hop producers to beginning our own music production, the roots of hip-hop have been embedded into our souls. We’ve been working on a 10-track original Beat Tape “Here and Now” which is a reflection on the boom-bap drums and slick sample based music we’ve drawn inspiration from over the years.” – Krooked Drivers
