Prosecutors Allege That Birdman + Young Thug Conspired to Kill Lil Wayne

The beef between Lil’ Wayne and Cash Money Records seemed to have reached a deafening crescendo in January when Lil Wayne decided to sue Birdman and Cash Money Records for 54 MILLION dollars…but that very well may be only the tip of the iceberg in what prosecutors say could be a conspiracy to have Lil Wayne killed…

To recap the last few months…. On April 26 of 2015 (not too far after the lawsuit), Lil Wayne’s tour bus was shot at outside of an Atlanta nightclub. No one was injured. On May 29th, Jimmy Carlton who was acting as Young Thug’s tour manager was arrested for allegedly shooting at Lil Wayne’s tour bus in April.

Mike Petchenik of WSB TV out of Atlanta is currently reporting that Young Thug AND Birdman have both been personally named in an indictment that claims that the two were part of a conspiracy to kill Lil Wayne. The reports say that Jimmy Carlton (Young Thug’s tour manager) was acting out a threat of violence on Young Thug’s behalf. Prosecutors are attempting to cite Young Thug’s music video for Halftime in which Jimmy Carlton sports an assault rifle during a song which mentions the aforementioned Lil Wayne.

Neither Young Thug nor Birdman have been officially charged with any crimes related to the shooting of Lil Wayne’s bus or any murder conspiracies.

Young Thug was however arrested early Wednesday morning after threatening to shoot a mall cop. Seriously.
