A while ago, two of club music’s most talented artists teamed together to create a tutorial-like track that had everyone swinging their hips round and round. Featured on the ‘Award EP‘, the Jersey Club Kween UNiiQU3 linked with Brenmar and provided vocals for “Hula Hoop“. Known to effortlessly work together, these two naturally pumped out a track that literally anyone can dance to.

After months of them making us wait and stalk their tweets for any hints on a release, the duo had finally previewed the Lil Internet (Beyoncè, Diplo) directed video that was highly anticipated. When you have Lil Internet directing the video, Brenmar co-producing it, and a Guinness World Record champ featured in it, there’s no way the release party can be at any old place; and that’s exactly why they projected the video on the rooftop of New York City’s Soho House. Surrounded by lounge sofas, great drinks, and wonderful tunes (obviously spun by Brenmar and UNiiQU3), Run The Trap had an amazing time and got an exclusive look at the video before anybody else had with UNiiQU3 gleefully telling us, “I was so happy I made the shoot; I went to set straight from my delayed flight. The fact that Lil Internet was directing it, and he’s worked with Beyoncè (gag!). We all just worked hard in this release too, and it paid off.”

Now, the first music video off of the ‘Award EP’ has finally been released to the world via Fools Gold Records and has even received it’s national television debut on MTV’s Club Land. Merging actual hula hoop talent–Marawa The Amazin and half of the SaltNPeppa Hoop Duo, Kaneesh–with bright neon colors and exotic dancing from none other than “Blue The Creep“, this video showcases exactly why simplicity is sometimes better. Brenmar can be spotted around the hula hoops here and there, while UNiiQU3 serves us some modern-day Missy Elliot music video swag. The combination of the step-by-step vocal guide and entrancing visuals is enough to leave this video on repeat.
