Lorde, Disclosure Making New Tunes, and having oreo milkshakes

It has been a busy day for bloggers in the music industry. After a fairly calm New Music Tuesday, comes a rush of new music and music news. The latest on our plates was picked up from Pitchfork, as they caught a very interesting tweet from the likes of everyone’s favorite femme fatale singer Lorde. We haven’t heard much of anything in the way of a follow up to her acclaimed album Pure Heroine, but today via Twitter it was discovered that Lorde is making new tunes, and also drinking oreo milkshakes with Disclosure.

Exciting news, adding to an already exciting week for Disclosure fans, who have been similarly in the dark as Lorde’s fans have. Earlier in the week, they announced a September release for their sophomore album, to be entitled Caracal. The follow up to Settle is as highly anticipated as that of Lorde’s second album. Although there is no word on whether she is working on, or will be releasing, another album, we can rest easy knowing we can expect some collaboration of these two celebrated artists.
