Electric Zoo is back, and New York city is shaking with excitement. In what is unequivocally the best annual, solely electronic music festival in the city that never sleeps, Electric Zoo’s “Evolved” lineup is literally one for the ages. With four stages across three days of fun, the possibilities are utterly endless. But fret not, as Labor Day Weekend approaches, we’re here to give you five sets you simply can’t miss at Electric Zoo
Dog Blood
It goes without saying, the return of Dog Blood has been extremely exciting. Skrillex and Boys Noize have been cranking out music together all year, and for all we know, they might be playing more unreleased at their upcoming Electric Zoo set. Plus, Skrillex throws down legendary sets, so the idea of missing his main stage festival set is just unthinkable.
Getter
Getter has had some struggles this year dealing with fans bad-mouthing his Visceral tour set. Due to what was clearly unwarranted criticism and bullying, Getter decided to cancel the remainder of the tour and focus on making music. Seeing Getter back in action will be extremely exciting, and perhaps we will get to see more of what would have made his Visceral Tour so great in the first place.
Malaa
Malaa has been absolutely tearing up the house scene, with his most recent remix of DJ Snake’s “Enzo” being a certified banger. The Confession label artist will be sure to bring the heat to New York’s summer festival and will be a set no house fan will want to miss.
1788-L
It’s hard to fathom the year 1788-L has had. The anonymous producer wasn’t even on the lineup last year, as he had just started his meteoric rise to the top of the bass charts. With his upcoming Electric Zoo debut set to be a great one, this is an absolute can’t miss for bass lovers.
LICK
LICK has been on fire this year. From his gassed up DIMENSION EP on Deadbeats to his hard-hitting debut DARK VIBE ORDER album on ALT:Vision, LICK has delivered nonstop bangers all year long. Electric Zoo closes out LICK’s heavy summer festival schedule, which included performances at Electric Forest, HARD Summer, Paradiso, Sunset Music Festival, and more. If you’re ready to have your mind blown, head over to LICK’s Sunday set.
