Lil Nas X Comes Out As Gay The Same Day “Old Town Road” Goes Diamond

In just a few short months, country rapper Lil Nas X has become a viral sensation and dominated the Billboard charts. On the last day of Pride Month, Lil Nas surprised many fans by officially coming out as gay. He announced the news in a series of tweets, the first of which referenced “C7osure” off his debut 7 EP. He later pointed to the EP’s artwork, which showcases a rainbow skyscraper. Many artists, including Miley Cyrus and MNEK, have already come out in support of Lil Nas X’s announcement.
