Cardi B has been indicted on 14 charges, including felony assault, conspiracy, and harassment related to her alleged participation in a strip club brawl in Queens, NY last August. The rapper was arrested last October after an altercation with two of the strip club’s bartenders, one of whom Cardi believed was having an affair with her husband Offset. The two victims claim they were injured by bottles and chairs thrown inside the club. Following her arrest, Cardi was charged with two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of assault. In April, she reportedly rejected a plea deal which would have required her to plead guilty to a single misdemeanor. After further investigation and a grand jury hearing, Cardi B has now been charged with 11 additional counts.
The indictment follows Cardi B’s recent single “Press,” which was released just mere weeks ago. Cardi B is due back in court Tuesday, June 25th for her arraignment. Stay tuned for more updates on Cardi B’s impending legal troubles.
