It goes without saying that Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” is one of the biggest records of the year. With that being said, the country-rap crossover left fans wondering if the young rapper had more in the tank and could avoid being just a one-hit wonder. While the jury is still out, we’ve finally received new music from Lil Nas, coming in the form of the lead single off his debut 7 EP dropping tomorrow.
The track is entitled “Panini” and was produced by the well-known duo Take A Daytrip. More interestingly, the track also credits none other than the late Kurt Cobain for interpolating a melody from Nirvana’s “In Bloom” original. Accompanying the tune is a futuristic, animated music video; check it out below and let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
