The Juno Awards are known as Canada’s version of the Grammys and their 2019 nominations have shined a heavy spotlight on some of our favorite electronic artists. Electronic Album of the Year has in the past honored artists like Ryan Hemsworth, Caribou, Pomo, and Kaytranada, with REZZ winning for her iconic Mass Manipulation album last year. This year, REZZ has once again been nominated for the award for Certain Kind Of Magic alongside Ekali‘s Crystal Eyes and Felix Cartal‘s Next Season. Loud Luxury racked up nominations for Single of the Year, Breakthrough Group of the Year, and Dance Recording of the Year. In addition, Keys N Krates‘ “Cura” and Dzeko and Tiësto‘s “Jackie Chan” have been nominated for Dance Recording of the Year. The Juno Awards will be announcing this year’s winners live on March 17th.
