Taking place in beautiful Jacó, Costa Rica, Bamboo Bass Festival is unequivocally the world’s most scenic space for bass. This festival has been developing with each passing year, and is now returning for its fourth term with so much more to offer! Bamboo Bass Festival is a meticulously curated independent festival produced by creative and hardworking minds who are dedicated to producing an event, unlike any other destination festival. With a stacked 2019 lineup and breathtaking new venue, Bamboo Bass Festival 2019 is turning out to be better than ever!
Returning on February 22nd-24th in 2019, this year marks a new era for Bamboo Bass, as they’re ecstatic to announce that the festival is moving to a new location! This year the event will be held at its new forever-home The Park at Ocean Ranch, just a few miles from its previous location at Jacó Ropes Adventure Park. Being just 15 minutes south of Jacó proper, guests can easily travel to and from the festival grounds.
This site has everything one could dream of. It inherently gives the festival so much more room to grow and offers the potential to build stages and permanent infrastructure that can be built upon year after year. Being further removed from the town also allows for more amplification of their already booming Funktion-One and PK Sound rigs. As if this weren’t enough, The Park at Ocean Ranch also has a ton of exciting features including a freshwater river and waterfall on site, coupled with grand adventures like waterfall rappelling, ATV tours, horseback riding and, naturally, ziplining. All of which can be coordinated by Bamboo Bass’s helpful crew, who are available to answer any questions or help get you started on planning your bass-driven odyssey.
