Woodstock has its 50th anniversary coming up next year, and it appears that the historic festival will be making a comeback in celebration of the milestone. In a recent interview with The Poughkeepsie Journal, one of Woodstock’s original promotors Michael Lang is on record saying: “This is not a done deal yet. But it’s very close.” While an official announcement seems far off for now, it certainly seems like this is actually going to happen. “We’re hoping to inspire people to speak up and get involved and get out and vote and help us save the planet,” Lang told the Journal. “We are in trouble and it seems like we’ve been brought back in time in a lot of ways.”
