There are many heavy truths we must bear in life. Loss of innocence is by far one of the heaviest. Cherry Beach, a duo from the City of Angels, has decided to weigh in with their debut single “Gravity”. Greeted by the sweep of a clean six string and a soft voice, we are carried away into the tribulations that we all face. A request to be released from the burdens we feel beckons as a chorus of powerful synths and drums propels us into absolution. “Gravity” does a fantastic job of showing the balance between the pressures of life and the liberation of transcendence. If this is their first release, I believe we can expect many great things from Cherry Beach in the upcoming years.
