Billboard Unveils Highly Anticipated First Inaugural ‘Billboard Dance 100’

Last month, Billboard Dance announced its shiny new inaugural ranking of electronic and dance music’s top 100 hundred artists. The highly anticipated first ever of its kind was carefully crated using statistical and fan driven data, examining a variety of factors including streaming, track, and album sales, radio airplay, show capacities, and festival bookings, along with a fan-voted poll. Dance lovers came calling with their five fill-ins apiece, with the poll drawing nearly 180,000 votes representing 174 countries on every continent. Amongst the official Billboard Dance 100, RTT favorites like Major Lazer, Cashmere Cat, Flume, RL Grime, ODESZA, Alison Wonderland, Mura Masa, and Mija each found their rightful spot.
