k?d Breaks Through The “Glass” Ceiling to Start 2018 with a Bang!

An artist’s first release each year is an opportunity to set a bar for not only themselves, but for other artists to aspire to.  Needless to say, our favorite glitch boy k?d has decided to place that bar in the dance music stratosphere with his new single “glass”.  The song begins with a lovely arpeggiated piano melody with classy sawtooth chords sitting directly underneath.  Bringing the track up to a feet stomping house tempo rather than his signature mid-tempo cadence, he slips in his signature leads over lofty chords that makes us feel like we’re shuffling on nothing but the air.  Do not let these beautiful sounds fool you though, the kick drum is powerful and steady; lulling you into a deep trance that will infect your feet, forcing you to dance.  It has been a pleasure watching the evolution of this young artist, and this latest hit only cements my predictions of the amazing 2018 he is about to have.  Stream “glass” below.
