2017 has already been a massive year for Chance The Rapper with three Grammy wins of his seven nominations and the Chicago hip hop artist has just outdone himself. Making his third appearance on comedy sketch show SNL, Chance made his debut as the show’s host last night and he was sensationally hilarious. The rapper opened the show by singing a Weird Al Yankovic-like song about Thanksgiving and it only got better from there as he went on to play a clueless hockey commentator and a 90s R&B singer with a ballad about Barack Obama. But by far, the funniest sketch of night featured Chance as a 70s hip hop artist discussing the history of hip hop and the lack of respect it gets from current artists of the genre.
