Brasstracks Continue Their Hot Streak With New Single "Those Who Know"

Brasstracks have had a fiery summer. The NYC duo is hot off performances at Electric Forest, Lightning In A Bottle, Splash House, What The Festival, and Camp Bisco, and supported Griz at the infamous Red Rocks just last week. They recently released the first track “Favorite” off their upcoming two part project and have announced a headlining tour set for early next year before continuing their streak with another hot new single “Those Who Know”. First off, this is the first time we’ve heard vocals from Brasstracks’ own Ivan Jackson and they’re quite impressive to say the least. “Those Who Know” is yet another smooth and soulful jazz infused original to add to their collection. The track starts off with sultry piano chords and groovy percussion that creates a hip downtempo soundscape for Jackson’s lush R&B vocals. It’s topped off with a Cashmere Cat or Lido-like drop filled with intricate percussion and their signature glorious trumpets. This is definitely a knockout track that shows yet another side of the awe-inspiring duo.
