Many were surprised when they heard about James Van Der Beek playing Diplo in a brand new scripted series for VICELAND. The show recently premiered its first episode. It describes itself as ‘VEEP in the EDM world.” It’s extremely self-aware and any fan of the EDM world will find the comedy in it. It stars James Van Der Beek, Dillon Francis and even Bobby Lee.

It’s satirical, and diplo makes fun of himself at every turn – with of course the occasional stab at Calvin Harris as well. Check out the entire first episode below!
