Gary Richards AKA Destructo to Leave LiveNation and Hard Events

It was reported earlier today that Gary Richards may have been ‘ousted’ from LiveNation which in turns owns Hard Events. The upcoming Hard Summer Music Festival will be Richards’ last HARD event for now

He announced in a Facebook post that he will not be curating Holy Ship 2018. Members of ‘ShipFam’ even took to the internet to make a petition in hopes of Richards’ return.

LA Weekly is reporting that Richards will be moving to LiveStyle – which is, “Essentially the rebirth of SFX Entertainment.”

It is still unclear what changes will come to HARD events without Destructo at the helm. See Gary Richards’ full statement below.
