Linkin Park Reveal New Logo In Memory Of Chester Bennington And Cancel North America Tour

Following the death of Chester Bennington, many fans have taken to different ways to pay tribute to the Linkin Park frontman. One of the most heartfelt reactions was from fellow band-mate Mike Shinoda, who recently revealed a new logo for the band on his twitter page.

It’s unclear if the logo posted by Shinoda is the new official logo of the band, however it has been posted to all of Linkin Park social media pages. Along with this, yesterday a spokesperson stated the band will a statement saying:

We are incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Chester Bennington,” Live Nation, the tour’s promoter, said in a statement Friday. “The Linkin Park One More Light North American Tour has been canceled and refunds are available at point of purchase. Our thoughts go out to all those affected.

What comes next for the band is still a mystery as they themselves have not yet released an official statement. However, given the circumstances I don’t think anyone is in a place to make them rush.
