Well – Lido just covered Peter Gabriel – and it’s fantastic.
Lido has become known for his prowess in sound design – but maybe even more for his gorgeous voice and he is never afraid to use it. “Solsbury Hill” is absolutely anchored by Lido’s gorgeous voice – the electronic melody being more in the background. The combination of electronic aspects and beautiful crooning makes it feel reminiscent of one of the prettier Owl City songs.
What a fantastic surprise from Lido – a Peter Gabriel cover! Who would have expected it.
