Spring Awakening Music Festival Releases Phase 1 of their 2017 Lineup

It’s almost spring time in Chicago – days are getting longer, hats & gloves are no longer needed, and festival lineups will slowly start making themselves known. Chicago is blessed to have a handful of music festivals to choose from every summer – but Spring Awakening just made a strong argument as to why you should include them in your Summer lineup this year.

SAMF will be calling Addams – Medill Park its home for the second year in a row in 2017. The park fit the festival perfectly last year, and I have to assume this year will be no different. June 9, 10, and 11 in Chicago is shaping up to be an awesome few days.

Phase one has all sorts of fun talent – including names like Griz and Yellow Claw. Chicago natives Louis The Child and Krewella will be playing hometown shows – they will be joined by Swedish house superstars Axwell V Ingrosso and Alesso. Of course this is just a fraction of the lineup – check out phase one in its entirety below. Keep an eye out for phase two and branded stage lineups! I can’t wait to see who will be playing at The Bass Kitchen, Body Language or Sunday School stages.
