This ~2000’s Mashup Generator is Way too Much Fun

Since Girl Talk has started appearing on festival lineups once again – it’s only fair to take a look at what propelled him to main stages in the first place, right?

A new website called Themagicipod.com has appeared giving you the ability to try out some mashups with some of your favorite ~2000 songs.  So far I’ve come up with “Touch Stacy’s Mom” (Touch The Sky by Kanye West with Stacy’s Mom from Fountains of Wayne) and “99 Floats” (99 Problems – Jay Z with Float On – Modest Mouse).

You click and drag songs onto each other – and the wbesite even tells you which ones will sound the best together.
