Is Skrillex Taking A Break From Dance Music?

Ever since Diplo hinted at relationship issues with Skrillex and subsequently the end of Jack Ü, several other theories have emerged over what the future holds for the young OWSLA commander-in-chief. First off, the resurgence of Sonny’s participation in his former band, First to Last, sparked rumors over Skrillex making a full reunion with the group. On top of that, fans checking the artist’s website were met with confusion as it appears that Skrillex – one of the most traveled DJ’s of all time – has no upcoming tour dates to show for in the near future.

With the exception of several Vegas dates (which he may just be contractually obligated to play), it doesn’t look like Sonny will be traveling much soon. All of this coupled with First to Last’s return as well as Diplo’s comments definitely raises some interesting questions – but only time will tell whether this is over-speculation or not. With that being said, one thing is for sure: Sonny clearly has some big plans for 2017 and we can’t wait to be surprised by them.
