Just when we thought Mr. Carmack was finished with his 2016 release spree, the man has just released ‘Otis Otis’. The track is based on a sample from the Otis Redding song “Try A Little Tenderness,” and is featured prominently on Jay-Z & Kanye West‘s track ‘Otis’ from Watch The Throne.
The biggest thing that stood out to me in this tune was the positive and upbeat vibe that is there from start to end. By infusing his creative percussive style with gritty upbeat snares and mesmerizing kicks, Mr. Carmack brings the heat with this legendary tune.
