Just a few days ago, we wrote about the possibility of Drake dropping new music for his birthday on a special episode of OVO Sound Radio. Well, that’s exactly what happened, and more.
Sunday night’s episode featured a guest mix from Drake himself, where we found him playing a long list of tracks he’s into right now. Prior to the guest mix, Drake announced a new project titled “More Life,” which he desired as a “playlist with the fam” or a “collection of [all original] songs that become the soundtrack to your life,” as opposed to a mixtape or an album. Drake gave a general release date of December. He then shared the project artwork on Instagram, featuring an OG picture of his father Dennis Graham.
Following his mix, Drake took the opportunity to give the fans a taste of what to expect form the project and a nice lil’ remix on top. From the project “More Life,” Drake premiered “Sneakin‘” featuring 21 Savage & produced by London on Da Track, “Two Birds, One Stone,” and “Fake Love.” As mentioned, he also dropped a remix — putting his spin on UK artist Santan Dave’s “Wanna Know.” Peep all four tracks below.
