Flume’s latest album ‘Skin’ came out back in May, but before it’s release he put a little teaser online of tracks on the album. Well not all of the songs on the teaser made it to the final cut of the album leaving me fiending for new Flume that I knew was out there. Well Flume took to his socials yesterday to announce that he would have a new EP coming out and that it would be sort of a companion to his album. While he is already playing out some of these tracks, it’s going to be amazing to get our hands on new music from the Australian Phenom. The EP is going to be out in November, you can check out the preview below for a taste of what to expect.
I’ve been overwhelmed by the support you guys have shown for Skin over the past few months and I wanted to share some more music that was written around the same time.
The first Skin Companion EP is a 12″ of songs we are releasing in November. It will be available on vinyl at lots of great indie record stores around the world – Rough Trade, Phonica, Turntable Lab, Oye, Amoeba, Juno, Boomkat, Red Eye and many more. ~ Flume
