PREMIERE: Popeska Releases A New Upbeat Tune With ‘I Believe’

Atlanta-based producer Popeska has been steadily moving up in the world of electronic music. With his latest release, ‘I Believe’, we believe this man has a bright future ahead of him. Although Popeska’s name is just getting out there now, he has had years of experience in the music industry. At only 23 years of age, Popeska has experienced more in the music world than most people his age. The Austrian-born, Atlanta-raised producer was picked up by one of the world’s largest booking agencies, performed around the world, and signed a record deal with Kindergarten Recordings before he was old enough to drink a beer legally. Having already released two highly acclaimed EP’s – Sonderand and Karmameter – on Kindergarten Recordings, Popeska already has a versatile collection of sounds and has added to that with his new single ‘I Believe’.

The track starts off with the sound made while cranking of an old school record player that neither your parents nor grandparents probably use, but one that is most likely still used by the Queen of England. It’s a classic sound that sets up the opening of the song perfectly. From the get go Popeska’s arrangement of the song is impeccable with a build up that wastes no time and adds on new layers in a timely manner that perfectly capture your attention. By using upbeat synths and resounding percussion it creates the feel of an orchestral overture. The first drop is the best part of the song for me, as it has a massive feel to it without being so overwhelming with bass. It sticks to its melodic roots and continues to keep building up having listeners on the edge of their seats. In the second drop, Popeska switches it up a bit to a more chopped sounding drop that perfectly blends right back into the primary melody of the song. Undoubtedly this song is one that will be at it’s best at festivals and concert halls, and makes for amazing personal listening as well.
