Lil B Lifts Curse on Kevin Durant After Warriors Announcement

The internet practically set ablaze today when renowned OKC forward Kevin Durant announced that he would be signing with the Golden State Warriors for a two year, $54.3 million dollar contract. The move sparked controversy, as fans upset with the creation of a so-called NBA “super team” boasted similar reactions to when LeBron James signed with the Heat in 2010 (see: KD jersey burning). Amidst the drama, one of Durant’s biggest rivals – Lil B – has come out not only fully supporting the decision but lifting his “Based God Curse” from KD, an affliction that (we think..?) has plagued the NBA star relentlessly for the past 5 years.  Whether Lil B is truly the psychic messiah of our generation or just realizing that KD will prosper in Golden State, one thing is for certain – it’s LIT down in Cali today.
