I often find myself wondering: ‘can something ever be too lit?’ Well, I’ve found my answer with DIEHIGH Record’s newest compilation DIEHIGH [season.01]. I got a chance to listen to this when I was preparing my morning coffee here in Bogota, but pretty quickly I realized the coffee might not be needed. From the beginning this compilation is a kick in the butt, and I mean that in the best most musical way possible. On top of that when I saw that LUUDE was one of the curators for this, I nearly lost my shit. Needless to say, all these tracks are individually masterful in their own rights, but do share a common theme of deep hard-hitting basses that if played on any set of speakers, from the car to the club, will be sure to get your head banging and your ears wanting more.
