Deadmau5 has been on his grind as of late. In the past month alone, the mau5 has dropped a trap influenced track, remixes of Jay Z and The Beastie Boys, and more. He also got into a Twitter spar with Kanye West.
Yesterday, Deadmau5 took to his Instagram to upload a short video clip in the studio while revealing he’s currently working on the 100th release for Mau5trap Records, the label he started in 2007 which is responsible for breaking out artists such as Skrillex and Feed Me, and is now home to the likes of Black Gummy, Rezz, and more. From the sounds of it, Deadmau5 is working on a brand new version of perhaps his most successful track to date, “Strobe.” While he doesn’t mention the track name whatsoever, it’s tough not to recognize the addictive melody of the original. Peep the Instagram clip below.
