What a ride Kanye West’s track “Wolves” has taken us on in the past year.
When Kanye first premiered the track last February on Saturday Night Live, the track featured Sia and Vic Mensa. The SNL performance version was the only version we were granted until the CDQ dropped on Ye’s recent album The Life of Pablo. Except it wasn’t the same “Wolves” track we first heard on SNL… Sia and Vic Mensa had been booted from the track in favor of Caroline Shaw and Frank Ocean. Additionally, Chance The Rapper also recently teased a version of Wolves featuring himself.
Now, we’re learning there may be yet another version of “Wolves” out there, this one featuring hip-hop megastar Drake and pop singer Björk. The news surfaced following a snapchat posted by Cashmere Cat, a co-producer of “Wolves.” In addition to the alternate versions features, further information was displayed including the track length (5:25) and tempo (78 BPM).
No word on whether or not this will be getting an official release, but we’re sure hoping it does.
