Fox announced today that it will host the US’s first-ever Electronic Music Awards & Foundation (EMAF) awards show this April. The EMAF’s will be produced by dance legend Paul Oakenfold and the ceremony promises to honor the industry’s longtime pioneers as well as top-trending acts, while maintaining a red carpet level of sophistication.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of an awards show that finally both recognizes and celebrates, on a primetime platform, one of the biggest music genres in the world today,” Paul Oakenfold, Executive Producer.
Voting starts February 15th. The event, held live on April 14th, will be aired on Fox on Saturday, April 23rd at 8pm and you can find out more about the EMAF awards here.
