Dropping the first single off her highly anticipated eighth studio album Anti, “Work” is an astounding follow up to “Bitch Better Have My Money”, carrying the same air of confidence and DFWM attitude, lightened by the lustful coos of a Drake feature. The track carries easy breezy Caribbean feels graced with RiRi’s harmonious vocals. Rihanna sings with the sexiest conviction, slaying her lyrics with her gorgeous vibrato melodies. “Work” is the first confirmed single off the 27 year old pop star’s forthcoming album, though it’s still unclear whether that means “FourFiveSeconds,” “BBHMM,” and “American Oxygen” aren’t on the album.
