Buygore Records is a staple in this industry for excellent reason. It is a label that comes in heavy and steady with bangers for your ear holes, that has grown since its inception into a well oiled machine making the heaviest sounds from the dopest artists. Their roster stays adding and graduating prominent talent, collecting the oddest and wildest from the darkest corners of the universe so that they can collectively curate the largest, most filthy sound in the world.
It is always about going harder at Buygore, and this new JayKode x Party Thieves tune goes hard AF, especially after the first drop. It lures you in with horror movie score intro feels, then comes in the bass and some creepy choir chants which build into an incredible drop that nearly knocked my socks off when it came in. It is straight mental. So much respect anymore for the ability to create huge sounds that escape the generic stereotypes of big room or festival trap, but will pop off and have the entire crowd in sync with the music and going totally insane.
‘Origin‘ is jarring and dark and heavy, some would even say scary. But it wraps you up in that darkness, lets you feel secure in its evil grips. On the dance floor when this shit drops we are all both sinners and saints, and none of it matters except the sound that moves through all of us. It is real and reflective of how we really feel, and also a release for those very real feelings that soothes us and brings us back to the light. Or if the dark side is your thing and dancing it out just doesn’t do it for you, this is perfect to put on your ‘songs to murder people to’ mixtape. (Don’t actually murder people though.)
With an ominous title of biblical proportions, this track promises to go harder and bigger and does just that. It is the intricacies that turn you head and then blow you brains apart while you are distracted by those little noises. Nothing small about this one though. Harder and bigger are two words Buygore Records is all about, and their releases are always an embodiment of that.
