Boy, it feels good to hear another track from Imad Royal. The man formerly known as just ‘Royal’ has been quiet for the past few months, building both this and the SoySauce project for a big 2016. Today, we are greeted with the first of many new pieces from Imad Royal, entitled “Troubles”. It takes shape as a playful, groove-inducing tune, where Royal tasks himself with writing, producing, and performing duties. This sort of effortless talent seldom comes around anymore, and it is great to see Royal taking command of his his music as a complete artist. Stay tuned for much more in 2016.
