Two Fresh – Torch EP

 

Mad Decent has unveiled Two Fresh‘s most recent project today and it’s lit, pun intended. The Torch EP is filled with drippy drops, jungle rhythms, and bands, homie. With features from Vic Mensa, Joey Purp, NJOMZA, and Curtis Williams among others, this six track EP is a showcase of what Kendo and Shweez have been brewing on for the past year.

If you’ve been on the Two Fresh tip since the Elm & Oak days it is obvious that this release exemplifies a clear progression of their sound and vibe. Staying true to their pitchy synths and abstract beats that made them a staple on the festival circuit, and blending it with forward thinking hip-hop is a sound we have yet to hear from them, and a direction that needs to be noticed.
